Hi All,

It was great to see the return of the Parent & child tournament to Sandycove on a glorious Friday bank holiday morning. Well done to the Transition Year students Stephen McDowell, Liam Prior and James Quinn who organised the event and ensured that everyone played with a group of their standard. Given the wide age range and also the varying standards it was a Herculean undertaking to allocate everyone a group where they felt comfortable. We don’t often get a chance to play with our kids in a friendly but competitive environment so a heartfelt thanks to the lads for stepping forward and organising the tournament in aid of both St Vincent DePaul and the Ukranian Refugees.

Thanks also to Natalie Flanagan for sourcing the food and Elaine and David Prior for cooking the delicious sausages and burgers. Proceedings were kept on track by club stalwart Mary O’Connell.
