Semi-Finals
Conference winners will advance to the semi finals along with the overall best runner up.
Semi finals will be played on Friday 27th with the final on 28th.
Playing Format:
Round robin ties will be played on an 11 game basis, to enable ties to be completed within restricted 55 minute court time schedule, Punctuality on court is essential. Format as per 70+ league i.e. 10 games with first point after deuce winning the game, 11th to be a 10 point tie break with 2 point winning margin. Semi finals and final will be played on a three set basis, first two sets being first to 6 games, and final set if needed being a 10 point tie break with 2 point advantage. Games will be as normal, but with first point after deuce deciding the game. Receiver elects who receives the serve.
Semi Finalists:
The four semi finalists will comprise the winners of each conference. Where there are less than 4 conferences then the highest placed runner(s) up will also qualify. Semi finalists will be ranked 1-4 based on results, with 1 playing 4, and 2 playing 3.
Conferences placings will be determined as follows –
1. Most ties won; then most games won.
2. Where level then head to head decides.
3. If 3 pairs are level and head to head is inconclusive, then tie break points difference decides, If still inconclusive then ED decides on a coin toss basis.
