Please take notice that the Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held on Wednesday 25 November 2020 at 8.00 p.m. by Zoom. If you wish to attend the meeting, it will be necessary to register in advance. Please email sandycovetscagm@gmail.com by no later than 5pm on Sunday 22 November 2020.
Nominations for election to the Committee
Please note that all nominations for committee positions must be received by Wednesday 11 November 2020. Scanned completed forms may be emailed to sandycovetsc.hon.secretary@gmail.com and copied to sandycovetsc@eircom.net or sent by post to the Honorary Secretary, Sandycove Tennis and Squash Club, Elton Park, Sandycove, County Dublin.
The Nomination Form is attached and is also available from the Honorary Secretary – sandycovetsc.hon.secretary@gmail.com. A full description of each General Committee Role and the associated responsibilities is available on the club’s website and from the Club Administrator to ensure anyone going forward for a committee position fully understands what’s involved. Please note that no nominations will be taken on the night.
Motions for Consideration at the AGM
Notice of any Motions you wish to propose at the Annual General Meeting must be received by Wednesday 11 November 2020. Motions received after this date will not be accepted.

Scanned completed forms may be emailed to sandycovetsc.hon.secretary@gmail.com and copied to sandycovetsc@eircom.net or sent by post to the Honorary Secretary, Sandycove Tennis and Squash Club, Elton Park, Sandycove, County Dublin. It is important to be aware that the rules and constitution of the club vest the day-to-day management of the club in the committee and that accordingly issues on matters of court booking, token charges, etc., are best left to the discretion of the incoming committee to decide. Such routine matters, while not suitable as a formal motion can, of course, be raised and discussed as before at the AGM under “any other business” and noted for the attention of the incoming committee without necessarily binding them to any course of action.
