SLTC men’s 4th team travelled up the M3 to play Navan 1 in a class 4 playoff, knowing that a win would promote the team to Class 3. However they encountered strong opposition. Top doubles JP Begley and Max Vidal lost in two sets, as did third doubles Tim Eaton and Dave Murphy. Paul Kilduff and Mark Cunningham’s second doubles match concluded in the second set, as Sandycove lost the playoff 2 nil. The team enjoyed a great league campaign but just fell at the final hurdle. Thanks are due to the two subs used in the campaign – Conor O’Reilly and John F Burke.

March 8th Play Play-Off Matches

Our 1st team led by Reon are away to Templeogue 1st on Sunday at 11AM and our 2nd team playing in Class 3 led will commence battle at 11am at home vs Naas 3 with young will Fitzgerald subbing in for our Captain Louis.
