Two quick reminders

1. To those of you who would like to register to play Winter League, which commences on Sunday 22nd January, please do so by this Friday 16th December by emailing sandycovemenscaptain@gmail.com. It would be very helpful to advise if you wish play or sub and any Sundays you know at this stage which you are unavailable for.

2. There are still some spots available for the Men’s Christmas party which will take place tomorrow evening, Wednesday 14th December. We remain hopeful that there will be a social tennis competition from 7.30-9pm which will be followed by pizza, refreshments and Christmas festivities in the bar afterwards. Tennis or no tennis – TBC tomorrow early afternoon – the bar will be open from 7pm with the World Cup Semi-Final on the TV and the show will go on!

All very welcome (new and not so new members), the fee is €20, and you can sign-up using the Smart Club system (SmartClubCloud | Login Page). If you have any issues with your Smart Club login, please contact Amanda Chambers at sandycovesmartclubhelp@gmail.com for support.

Lastly, as mentioned previously I am delighted to report that Alan Casey, Mark Cunningham, Paul Curran, Paul Fitzgerald, Mark Fourie, Tom O’Higgins and Paul Sinnott have agreed to join me in forming the 2022/23 Men’s Committee. If you have any ideas or views on how we can improve Men’s tennis in our club please let myself or one of the guys know.
