Senior League
Our o.65 team remain the shining light for Senior League tennis this year continuing to waltz through their section with 8 from 9 after 3 rounds and looking to secure a play off spot this week.
No luck elsewhere as our long list of injuries has resulted in no teams qualifying for the play-offs in o.35, o.45 and o.55 this year. The o.45 Class 1 & o.55 Class 2 came closest to making it but both came up just short. Well done to all players and subs for taking part. Hopefully we will have a healthier squad and set of results to match next year.
Table Standings
Over 35, Class 1: 3 pts. Unfortunate relegation to Class 2 in 2019
Over 35, Class 4: 1 pt. First outing for many so well done to all
Over 45, Class 1: 8 pts. 3rd place finish in a very strong group
Over 45, Class 2: 6pts. With a full team, could have been different!
Over 55, Class 1: 6pts. Had our chances but no double to report this year!
Over 55, Class 2: 6pts. Pipped to 3rd place just missing out on playoffs
Over 65, Class2: 8pts. 1 Game left and looking good!
Floodlight league commenced this week with 3 teams playing in Class1, Class 2, & Class4. With a lot of youthful talent infused in the teams. Next Monday we have Class 1 & 3 playing at home so please drop down to support. The results from Round 1 were:
