Following an absence of 3 years Floodlight league returns this Autumn starting on the 26/27th September.

The league will follow the usual format of 5 group games played on a Monday or Tuesday evening followed by the play-offs. Each team will comprise of 4 players – 2 singles and 1 doubles match and a draw is done on the evening of the match to decide who will play singles and doubles. To be eligible to play, players must have attained the age of 14 years by 31st December in the year preceding the competition.

Sandycove have entered 3 Men’s teams (Class 2 – 1 team and Class 3 – 2 teams) and we are hoping that a combination of youth and experience will see Sandycove be very competitive across the three teams.
