LADIES WINTER LEAGUE
Sandycove were very lucky to have two teams in the quarter finals of the winter league.
The class 3 team played against Shankill 1. They have indoor courts which was good as it was a very wet afternoon for tennis. This probably was an advantage to Shankill. However, our team fought hard but sadly lost. Thanks to the captain of the team Andrea Begley along with Ruth Canavan, Clare Morris, Fleur Muldowney, Linda Walsh and Liz Murphy. Well done to everyone and the subs.
Class 5 had home advantage against Donabate 1. Everyone had to wait for the courts to be playable due to the heavy rain. Sadly there were up against a very strong team and lost. The team captain was Ruth Milne along with Aileen Regan, Angela Bennett, Catherine McCooey, Yvonne Fitzsimons, Breege English, subs who played on Saturday, Shelagh Cunningham and Maria O’Mahony. Again a big thanks to all the players.

LADIES FLOODLIGHT LEAGUE
Class 2 had a tough draw last night. They have 4 points still all to play for in the coming weeks. Class 3 and 4 both have 7 points and are joint leaders in their groups. Well done to all the players and thank you for playing in this league.
