Dear Ladies,
We are looking forward with great excitement to our Christmas party on Friday night! Tennis begins at 7 sharp, with Prosecco from 8.30 and dinner served at 9. There will be a glass of wine or two with dinner also. Cost is 25 euro per person to be paid on the night, and please remember to bring your 5 euro kris kindle present so Santy can give out the gifts! See you all there!
While we are all enjoying ourselves in the warmth of our cosy club, we would like to be mindful of the homeless out on our cold and wet streets this winter. Sheila O’Malley has come up with a wonderful idea (inspired by a homeless man called Joe who spoke of how cold he was) to collect any old, clean, coats, scarves, hats and fleeces that you might have in your house and put them in a bag for Simon’s Outreach Team. Bags can be left in the box on the squash balcony or dropped into Sheila’s home (her address is on the flyer linked below). Final collection date is Friday December 6 at 12pm as the coats are needed urgently and people are out there in the cold right now.
