Greetings from the Social Team

We had our first social last Friday and what attendance, fun and craic was had by approx. 55 ladies. Thanks to my terrific social team (Deirdre Staines, Zuilmah Wallis, Clare Morris, Beccy Breach, Catherine McCooey and Mairead Mackey) for making it happen. The room was alive with 70’s decorations, ABBA music, glitter and bright fancy dress. It was great seeing club members up dancing, having the chat, banter, laughter and creating a bit of madness (fully endorsed by our social team – we say ‘bring on the craic’).

May I take this opportunity to once again thank our fabulous Ladies Captain, Her Majesty Jenny Cullen, for all her support, enthusiasm and dedication to the club over the last year. Thanks Jen.

We look forward to one or two ladies coming forward to take up the role of Ladies Captain this year. It is important for all members, particularly those who have not yet volunteered in the Club to play their part and help run this fabulous club. Without volunteers, it would not be the special place it is.

Looking forward to see you all on Sunday, 16th December (4-7pm) for the Turkey Tournament.
