Massive congratulations to our Class 6/7 Charity League team who won their semi-final yesterday in grand style. Facing a strong Netownpark team, it all came down to the last match and about 25 deuce-vans. To no-one’s surprise, the invincible duo of Emma Percival and Sarah-Beth Casey pulled off yet another win to clinch the final spot, after a great victory by sub Ellen O’Carroll and Ann Herbert, while Linda Vidal and Fenella Murphy only lost on the tightest of margins, 6-4 in the third. Onwards to the final! This is a brilliant team with a fantastic captain in Orla Maher, who was very unlucky to be sick for the semi. Best of luck to you all on May 13th!
