Dear Members,

We wanted to update you on the Head Coach recruitment process.

We have set up a sub-committee to manage this process and while we have held discussions with some candidates no appointment has yet been made.

With the shortage of newly qualified coaches in the last 2 years due to Covid, other clubs also looking for coaches and coaches being under contract with their existing clubs the process is taking longer than we had hoped. We are working to ensure that the new coaching structure that will be put in place will build on the existing coaching infrastructure and provide a comprehensive coaching program for adult and junior members.

The sub-committee is doing everything it can to appoint a new Head Coach as soon as possible, but also needs to ensure that the right candidate is secured.

We will keep members updated with developments in this regard.

In the meantime we would like to thank Rob, Catalin and Chloe for continuing to provide a high level of coaching to adult and junior members.
