Hi everyone,

I am running a Charity Event next Friday morning Oct 18th in Sandycove from 11am -1pm on courts 1-4, followed by afternoon tea upstairs in the clubhouse. It will be all fun based tennis games and drills, suitable for all ages and abilities! If interested in taking part, please email me at aineleonardtennis@gmail.com or text 0876174227. I can take up to 32 people on court or you are welcome to come along for afternoon tea only if you prefer from approx 12.30-1.30. If anybody would like to bring along some nibbles or cakes, that would be amazing, please let me know. There is no cost for the event but I’ll have a bucket for any donations which will be greatly appreciated no matter what amount.

I am going to Ethiopia at the end of the month for 2 weeks, volunteering with an Irish run organisation called Youth Release who do amazing work over in Dire Dawa helping orphaned and vulnerable children. We are also bringing over much needed supplies for the youth centre so if anybody has any preloved kids clothes they would like to donate, ages 5-16, old football boots, sports equipment of any kind, it would be much appreciated.
