The weather on Monday night was the best we’ve had in a long time…..no wind & dry! We had 18 players. Unfortunately we had to abandon play after an hour & a half when Mark Stephens fell over and injured his ankle badly. We called the ambulance service but they couldn’t confirm a time they might get there! Eventually with a Herculean effort by the members…Margaret Worrall raced home and brought backup an orthopaedic boot & crutches which enabled us to get him into his wife Lynn’s car. It looks like he has a bad fracture. Wishing him all the best for a good recovery. Thanks to all the members who helped.
