At the Championships of County Wexford in Hillbrook Tennis Club, Enniscorthy:
Mikayla Power won the U12 Girls Open Singles Event, winning 6-0 6-1.
Amy Wardlaw won the U12 Girls Singles Phoenix Gold Event, 6-3 6-4.
Lindsay Power won the U14 Girls Singles Phoenix Gold Event, 6-2 6-3. A great achievement as the girl she beat also won the U14 Open Singles Event.
At the Tramore Tennis Club Junior Open Week at Tramore Tennis Club, Waterford:
Oisin O’Hanlon won the U16 boys singles and doubles. Oisin beat the no.1 seed and no.28 in Ireland 6-4 6-1 in the final of the singles. Oisin teamed up with his singles opponent to win the doubles final 6-0 6-2.
At the Castleknock Junior Open at Castleknock Tennis Club, Dublin:
Ronan Sweeney won the U16 boys singles and the U18 boys singles! Ronan won the U16 singles final 6-0 6-1 and the U18 singles final, 7-5 6-4.
A fantastic achievement by all.
