The parent and child tournament took place in sunny Sandycove on Sunday
May 24th . It was a fantastic day filled with great tennis, laughter and plenty of
community spirit. Under bright blue skies and glorious sunshine families
enjoyed a wonderful day on and off the courts, with parents and children
teaming up for some competitive but good natured matches.
Off the court everyone was treated to delicious breakfast rolls to start the day,
followed by an irresistible selection of homemade cakes that kept the players
fuelled between matches. The ice cream proved especially popular in the
warm weather.
All in all it was a fabulous day organised by three of our teenagers, Ailbhe,
Emma and Kitty (with a little help from their Mums!). The tournament raised
fantastic funds for the wonderful charity Tennis 4 Cancer. If you missed out this
