At Sandycove Tennis we welcome players of all ages & abilities to participate in coaching classes with our highly experienced & qualified coaches. Our comprehensive coaching programme is designed to inspire, develop, and support tennis players of all ages and skill levels — from energetic juniors just picking up a racquet to seniors looking to stay active, sharp, and social on the court!

MEET OUR COACHES
Edoardo Queirolo – Head Coach
Edoardo has 18 years of coaching experience across Italy, Australia and Ireland. Edoardo learned his coaching skills from one of the most renowned tennis academies worldwide, Piatti Tennis Centre in Italy. He returns there regularly to improve and update his skills.
Before coming to Ireland Edoardo was performance coach in White City Tennis in Sydney resulting in the club winning the most important national awards 4 years in a row. He raised 3 professional tennis players in the WTA circuits from kids to seniors.
Rob Neiland – Level 3 Coach
Rob is a level 3 graded coach with over 20 years experience. He has represented Sandycove, UCD and Leinster and is a multiple winner of Sandycove Club Championships. He has organised the successful Sandycove Tennis Camps and Summer Programmes. He holds a H.DIP in Sports Management and Human Resource Management. Rob aims to continue to work with the club offering excellent coaching to all members both for individuals and groups.
Áine Leonard – Level 4 Coach
Áine is a Tennis Ireland/ITF Level 4 coach with over 18 years experience coaching in Ireland and overseas. As a junior, Áine represented Ireland on various international trips and won 2 junior ITF titles. She also won 8 National titles from 10 finals in Fitzwilliam throughout her junior years. In seniors, Áine has represented Leinster in numerous interprovincial events, was the Senior Open Champion in Carrickmines in 2016 and most recently has represented Leinster in over 35s in 2022. Áine is passionate about tennis improving players of all levels and seeing them enjoying a sport for life!
